I have received the MK802IV yesterday,
Antutu keeps reboot until I did a 'RESET'
after that Antutu gave a result of 13xxx (i can't remember the exact result, just lower than Samsung Galaxy S3)

not as fast/smooth as i expected before

I am supposed to get one to help with testing and it has not yet arrived but I am waiting with anticipation that it should be 2x better than the IIIs model

I wanted to get more info about the status of my order from Cloudsto UK aka Rikomagic UK
But I cannot reach them by phone.
I do not know if they are aware that their phone is currently out of order?
I also send an email, but unfortunately also no answer from there....

The telephone is working again and I got a message from mr. Kirby that my order was already shipped by DHL. (With DHL tracking no..)
It should even arrive today! woohoo!!

I ordered my stick at cloudsto. Two days ago i wrote an email to Mr. Kirby, and he replied me with DHL tracking number. Today i recieved the package. I had to pay 20,81€ taxes. Germany.
So i paid in total 90 € + 20,81 € = 110,81 €.

sells the 16GB version for 119€. On ebay you find two sellers which offer it for 129€, Rikomagic MK802 IV S 16GB version. I'm asking myself, if it had been wiser to buy the 16GB version?

Hi All,
Does anyone knows if the 16Gb will be available soon and, if it is already available, did someone managed to order it from somewhere?

I found a supplier on ebay (Ecenjoy) who are selling the 16GB version, which I have ordered, not yet received. As soon as I get it I'll let you all know:
1) if its real (rather than fake) - is there an easy way to do this? (I imagine there should be something in "about device").
2) how it works....

I'm not sure what benefit having the 16GB versus the 8GB will give, but for an extra £5 it seemed worthwhile.

I have preordered one I'm asking myself, is it possible to use a Logitech MK520 Wireless Desktop with the MK802IV? Did somebody used successful a Logitech Wireless Destop with on of the older MK802 devices II, IIIor IIIS?

It is possible. And i can choose german keyboard layout in android settings.

Well it arrived in the post while I was at work....

Hmmm.. on opening I wondered why there was an 8GB unmarked SD card in the box... That, in the opinion of the seller is what makes it : "Z0 16GB MK802 IV Android 4.1 QuadCore RK3188 2GB RAM A9 1.8GHZ MINI PC HD TV BOX" HAH!

Well, serves me right for not reading the listing properly - it does mention the 8GB card...

Booted up - seems OK initially, but It doesn't seem to like my bluetooth keyboard/trackpad combination, though it recognises it and seems to work with it, a few minutes after connection the MK802 crashes, and restarts... Maybe this is a problem dealt with by the update?

Nope, its not the BT keyboard/mouse, it just crashed again just with wireless 2.4GHz mouse when I clicked on e-mail - flaky doesn't do it justice so far.... I shall try the upgrade - if I can keep it up long enough to complete....

(are there any instructions as to how to do the upgrade?).

Before I do this though its communicate with seller time... Though, to be fair, I am trying the supplied power supply before doing this, as I have noticed the one I was using only supplies 0.7A at 5.1V... (which I use to charge my SGS2 all the time...)

you must update the batch tool to v1.7 and it should be easy to flash rom... I am currently downloading a rom that was released yesterday and I will mirror it as soon as it is done - current eta is about an hour to fin down then probably an hour to mirror

What is the batch tool? Is this a tool to update the ROM?

Where does it run (on PC or on MK802?)....

Just don't want to assume anything...
