Those 5-6 GB available space are split in 2 partitions usually (on iii, iiis) etc.
The first partition is for apps (on the original firmware the 802iiis was around 500 mb, but with the January firmware is was increased to 1.23 gb) and the second partition for other stuff - music, etc.
I hope that first partition to be bigger.

Some good news it seems from Rikomagic
They keep updating their product page for the MK802 IV.
From looking at the new package contents info, they will include now a USB power adapter with this product.
This should prevent a lot of problems related to underpowered USB supplies.

Some representatives of Rikomagic seem to be better informed than others...
Have seen several shops stating a shipping date of the 20th of May
If this is accurate?, lets wait (unfortunately) and see
Lets just hope that they have produced enough sticks to supply all the pre-ordered models!!

Well I've just ordered a 16Gb one (via ebay - well I had a £10 off voucher which expired today, courtesy of not buying from them for ages).

Lets hope it comes through reasonably soon (I'm not expecting it before the bank holiday tbh ).

But I've just been reading through the manuals (available here: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=E ... NJ3aK1pSTc) and there isn't any mention of the Riko Remote via Android, though I had been lead to believe it was built into this device. Have I been mislead, or is this just an oversight in the manual.

I've seen the demo of the device over at geekbuying.com and it looks awesome - especially with XBMC.... - And ShowGun looks amazing on it too (that was a new one on me)....

My order still says "confirmed" and nothing more... this is really a huge delay, especially when the competition already have similar devices
