V5 doesn't recognize Belkin USB hub

This one is peculiar. I have a Belkin B2B128tt USB 3.0 3-Port Hub with Gigabit Ethernet that the V5 is unable to see, whether I'm booted into Android or Linux. The hub works correctly on a Mac, on a PC, on a linux box, and on an Intel Compute Stick.

But on the V5, the hub never even shows up in 'lsusb' or 'dmesg', no matter which USB port I plug it into. Despite being unacknowledged by the V5, I know that the hub is getting power, because if I plug a CD burner into it, the drive spins up and I can eject discs. If it were simply a matter of the vendor and product IDs not being recognized, I would expect the hub would at least be listed as some unknown device.

I never did get this hub to work with the V5. I ended up getting a different hub and a separate USB Ethernet adapter, both of which work fine with the V5.
