MK802 REV.2 Firmware

The new firmware was just released. Anyone have downloaded it or can mirror? Their Dropbox Link doesn't work due to the traffic!!!

Have installed the Firmware..

Its a lot smoother than previous incarnation.. mode change flip (when the screen blanks for a second) is resolved.
A new video player is present that will allow 3D output.
No Bluetooth dongle support from what I can tell.. have tried a few different dongles here..
Still testing things here at the moment

Apologies if this seems a dumb question but is there a working link where this update can be downloaded, and also when we get it is it safe to overwrite existing data on MK802 or better to format it and start afresh?

When I Flashed my 512, I thought I was doing a complete format.. you know, selected the format method in LiveSuite.. but when it booted up, to my surprise, it started with custom boot anim, and when it got to the home screen everything was still there.. Screen had defaulted back 160.. but after changing back 120 all shortcuts were exactly where I left them.

Had to go through and make sure SuperUser was not using legacy, and reinstalled BusyBox, but everything worked.

Just about to do my 1gb.. I'll update this post to say if the same thing happened..

Yes, this is the latest firmware and it can be downloaded from here:

I am still waiting for a full list of the changes but so far Rikomagic China are saying:

1. Added USB camera Support.
2. Added multiple screen resolutions.
3. Optimized 24 items relating to general response and speed.
4. Fixed the multilingual bug.

More information is coming and will be posted here as soon as I have it.

I tested this firmware last night and its running pretty nicely, the adjustable screen resolution is what we have all been waiting for as well as camera support.

lol.. just came across the screen resolution changer after being a little more thorough with the setting panel.. so many modes... spoilt for choice

Thank you, I am downloading now while working on a new app so when downloaded I will format and reinstall from Fresh, good to hear the mildly irritating problem of the screen changing resolution (blanking) should be gone
