Original APK over on the Miniand Forum

Not exactly working perfectly for the Mk802.. no mouse interaction, keyboard arrows only, and you can't access menus/settings etc the way u think. I did manage to start accessing settings but had to set up quite an elaborate DroidMote profile to mimic touchscreen input. Fingers crossed the guys over at Miniand will sort a couple of the issues to do with interaction out... Just remember there is no mali hardware decoding through this as yet.

For now, a good alternative to XBMC is Mizuu. Mizuu is just a video collection explorer for local files/cifs.. very nice interface and picks up on TV shows & Film data really well.

Yup. The coolness keeps coming. We Envy This Stuff Yeah. :)

Hopefully the remaining problems will be overcome soon enough, as I think a line in the sand has been drawn, and it's down to do or die :)

Got the Mk802 XBMC running with a working method of input. This was achieved by using the official XBMC remote app I already use to control OpenELEC on my Raspberry Pi and Linux Box.

The official XBMC remote app...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... W1vdGUiXQ..

There is a little hack you'll need to do to get this running straight off...
Using something like RootExplorer/ES FileExplorer, navigate to /mnt/sdcard/Android/Data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files
You'll need to open 'guisettngs.xml' in the text editor
scroll down until you find <services>
Here you can edit the likes of the device name. But what we want to do is to make sure 'true' is set for <esallinterfaces>, <esenabled>, and <webserver>

Leave the likes of webserver username and password at their defaults
make a note or change the webserver port address to what you like

Start up XBMC remote on a phone or tablet.. add your Mk802 to your device list and all it should work straight away when you start XBMC.
